Fall is officially here and you know what that means, the holidays are just around the corner. And where there are holidays, there are delicious holiday-themed treats (or at least there should be). So today we’re sharing one of our favorites: Halloween Cereal Bars.
The recipe itself is super simple, making it a great one to do with kids. Plus, it can be modified in countless ways just by adding different candies to the top. For this batch we choose chocolate peanut butter candies in festive Halloween colors. What will you choose?
Ingredients12 Gluten Free Cereals - Honey Crunch, 1 ½ bag of miniature marshmallows, 1 ½ stick of butter, 1 bag of your favorite Halloween candy,
Melt the butter on low heat in a sauce pan.
Slowly fold in all of the marshmallows until completely melted.
Stir in the cereal until coated.
Spray a 9 x 11 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly into the pan.
Top with candy and leftover marshmallows.
The last step is to cut your bars into squares and enjoy. Happy Halloween!
