It can be a struggle getting 3 children dressed and out the door to catch the school bus each school day. Mornings can seem like a competition to see how close we can make it until we are late. One of the things that I really do not want to skimp on or miss is a healthy breakfast. My youngest is not a huge breakfast eater, but he needs to have a full tummy before he gets to school. I have learned that non-traditional breakfast foods are a great way to get him to eat a healthy breakfast when he is not up for a full breakfast. Another quick and easy breakfast for a busy morning is Cream Cheese and Jelly Fruit Bars. This is a great grab-and-go breakfast item that has protein and fiber that is filling. It’s a healthy way to start the day; not to mention beautiful!

Spread cream cheese and jelly on chocolate chip bar. Top with fresh fruit. Breakfast on the go!
