piece from the Washington Post jumped out at us – focusing as it does on the winning weight-loss strategies of several Washington, D.C. area chefs. Each has had an individualized approach to their weight loss (and each has tremendous daily temptation, given their profession), but the Post’s Jennifer LaRue Huget summarized what commonalities the approaches shared.

- Drinking alcohol
- Consuming sugar and caffeine
