  • Irene – Thank you for your post and taking action to fundraise for Crohn’s research. Due to limited marketing/advertising budgets, we are not able to make individual donations. We wish you the very best. Lobelia at Van's

  • Yahoo, a bread type thing I can eat. I am 63yrs old and recently went GF due to health issues. As I have lost most all of my confindence in the medical field, I decided to take greater responsibility in my care. After tons of research, I hooked up with a naturopath that I felt I could trust who then recommended I just start on a cleansing progran to determine allergen influence on my health. So I began buying/testing gf products to replace bread, pancakes and pasta. After 6wks, I had only found one bread that was at all good (rice bread), but only toasted. I said, ok I can live with toasted sandwiches. I tried various crackers and other misc items, some ok, most not. Then I tried your waffles and jumped for joy. Soooo good. So now when I get an urge for gluton stuff, I know I have an alternative. THanks for your wonderful products (any chance you can develop a gf bread sometime in the future?!?!?)

  • I'd also be interested in hearing about your Lite waffles, since I have to watch my carbs. I've recently been diagnosed with Type II diabetes and need to watch my carbs.

Thank you again, Anamaria Miranda (formerly Arcadia, CA) (New Jersey) now.
  • I and my sister are huge fans of your Plain Belgium Waffles since they're made with egg whites only - I'm one of those adults that is allergic to eggs unfortunately and when I discovered yours many years ago I was thrilled. Costco used to carry them, but no longer do so and I would really like to know where I can find them or where I can order them from. Not the mini waffles (A&P carries those), but not as good as regular sized-square waffle.

    Thanks. Anamaria Miranda
  • Hi Eric. We (parents and children) have been devoted "breakfasters" of Van's plain ole' Belgium Waffles. We have been able to purchase them in large boxes (greater than 6) at Costco and Ralphs. They have not been on the shelves for the past few months. Can you help us understand the reason for this? And most important, how can we satisfy our cravings. Nothing else (all other brands and Van's other products) replaces this - ingredients, taste, value and just healthy eating!!

  • I've been a faithful, long-time customer. I don't like the new formulations of your waffles and will be looking for something else to serve my family for breakfast. The additions of vitamins and lots of extra grains doesn't add up for me---the previous products tasted great.
I miss the organic whole wheat product that you sold for years. I hope you will reconsider this gimmicky change in your products and will bring back the previous products. Tatiana in MA
  • I've been buying Van's organic waffles for years. Just discovered that you've added extra vitamins and minerals to them. As I get sufficient vitamins and minerals already through both food and supplements, I don't want them added to anything else, particularly not the fat-soluble ones like vitamin A. Since I now have to choose between organic waffles and waffles without the vitamin boost, I will now change brands. I'm at a loss as to why anyone there would force this choice on me. Should you change back, I'd be happy to return with my money. jwieder
  • Hey just wanted to tell you that I love your gluten free products and since you also are GF you know that means a lot! They are light and taste good and give me something that resemebles a bread product and that is so huge! Thank you thank you thank you!

  • Thank you for enlarging the labels! My mother is 74 and spent 21/2 hours in the market last week trying to shop and read labels and came home with 2 bags and not much for her to eat.I just ordered the guide to Gluten free shopping by Phillips publishing, a husband and wife team they publish the Glute Free Restaurant guide,Grocery Guide and Cards, that are cooking guides to give to chefs in various languages in popular cuisines so that their food can be prepared gluten free.If you aren't you may want your products to be included in the guide, in the stores where you sell. I hope that you don't mind these suggestions. I've spent HOURS on the web trying to finds resources in PA for my mother. I'm in CA and it is so much easier, but her locality and age have made it much more difficult for her.

KEEP UP THE TERRIFIC TASTE AND WORK! I LOVE THESE AND SHE WILL TOO! I just sent her a box top and hope that she will be able to find them.
On that note - I found you through the gluten free resources site, however they don't list your contact info. You might want to update that for sales sake (from one CEO to another)The address is ( http://www.enabling.org/ia/celiac/vendors) FYI I don't know the webmaster but it would really helpful if they would list WHAT you sell or what your specialty products are. Perhaps you can squeeze them somewhere in on your name or address section.

Before we found you my Mom thought that she would be eating rice farina for babies as a "yummy breakfast treat" for the rest of her life. I was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease, since being doubly affected by the CELIAC symtoms and complications of Full Cauda Equina Syndrome. Not to get too medical, just by way of explanation,(full paralysis of internal organs and external movement from the waist down) due to improper (in my case) or delayed medical treatment of sacral L4/L5-S1 lumbar spine herniation.

Since(CES) people have numerous digestion and elimination issues (most have serious problems with stomach and liver dysfunction ad incontinence and bowel incontinence only helped by a VERY limited and controlled diet ) the gluten free and other FREE foods are a necessity as they are for other s with allergies. Since becoming much more aware - as people often do when a medical issue strikes close to home, paras and quads are more likely to pick up illness and many disorders of the gastric variety. They frequently live on a low or almost no fiber diet which is terrible for them and a flavorless and boring diet. It's people like you and you company that make eating something we can enjoy again! It seems that you have to hunt for gluten free items by specialty and REALLY look hard in the stores. Even BETTY CROCKER almost hides it on the 4 measly bake mix products she makes (I don't think they are that good) but think I should support the effort for fear they won't continue.

A HEARTY THANK YOU for TRULY SUPERB PRODUCTS! and for caring enough to continue to enhance and improve them More gluten and allergy free products. Recipes using yor products in unique ways are always helpful, too. Carol Mann, carolsmann2010@gmail.com
