A few weeks ago, my family and I attended a party with a bowl of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip on the table. My children thought that this was fabulous and asked me to make it for them for days afterward. I looked the recipe up and, while delicious, it wasn’t a nutritious snack for my children. The original recipe included a lot of cream cheese and butter.
When I want to keep a rich, creamy texture, but not calories and fat, I look to my good friend Greek yogurt, which cut fat and added protein and probiotics.

Then, I added a variety of dippers, like Van’s Waffle Sticks and fruit. I particularly like the Waffle Sticks from Van’s because they’re made with all-natural ingredients and are an excellent source of calcium.
This cookie dough dip has quickly become the most requested snack at my house, and it would be perfect for a classroom party or a special birthday breakfast. It feels special and fancy, but it’s healthy enough that moms feel good about serving it.
