Many of you were probably reminded of a bummer of a fact as you travelled this holiday season – getting sick on a plane is really easy. Some studies have suggested that your risk of catching a cold on the plane is 20 percent higher than if you didn’t travel.

Wall Street Journal has a timely piece on how to

- Stay hydrated – this makes mucous passages more likely to fend off unwanted germs
- Clean hands often with an alcohol-based sanitizer
- Steer clear of seat-back pockets and airline pillows and blankets
